Between 30 September and 2 October 2025, the second and final in-person session of the course “INADEH Methodological Supervision Training” took place in Panama City. The course, offered by the ILO/Cinterfor within the framework of the institutional strengthening component of the “INADEH Transformation and Comprehensive Improvement Project (2023–2025)”, forms part of the project’s academic component. Through this component, ILO/Cinterfor contributes by implementing activities for training of trainers, curriculum enhancement, exchange of good practices, and technical support in quality standards, among others.

Conducted in a hybrid format, the course brought together over forty supervisors from all regions of Panama. Its purpose was to strengthen the role of methodological supervision in vocational training, directly contributing to improving the quality of training processes. The course fostered teamwork, exchange of experiences and critical reflection on institutional practices, with a view to consolidating more effective supervision oriented towards instructors’ learning.

During this second in-person session, key topics were addressed, including session assessment, review of applied tools, pedagogical feedback for instructors, and preparation of technical reports. These topics were explored through participatory activities that encouraged the exchange of experiences and hands-on application of the knowledge acquired.

The closing session was attended by the Director-General of INADEH, Yajaira Pitti Atencio, who presented certificates to participants who successfully completed the training process. The event also included a heartfelt exchange of acknowledgements among participants, highlighting their shared commitment and the importance of continuing to strengthen the quality of vocational training in Panama.

Through this activity, INADEH and ILO/Cinterfor reaffirm their commitment to sustainable institutional development, the consolidation of a stronger methodological supervision framework, and the continuous improvement of the vocational training system in Panama.
