Videoconference 26/10: Qualifications-based curriculum design

On Wednesday 26 October, ILO/Cinterfor, together with the European Training Foundation (ETF), held a videoconference that brought together 400 people to exchange about Qualifications-based Curriculum Design. The meeting counted with the participation of Jolien van Uden, expert in Human Capital development, who developed several experiences in European countries oriented from ETF; pointing out its innovative aspects, the differences with traditional design methods and the challenges for its extension and application.

The qualifications included in national and sectoral frameworks are the basis for the curricular design of more relevant and quality training programmes. Their description includes learning outcomes, a key aspect in defining the objectives of training programmes and fundamental in the orientation of the curriculum.
